Covid-19 Class & Clinical Policy

Our facility has been completely sanitized and have no staff with known exposures. Currently, due to the small size of our courses we still plan to have all scheduled courses. We will be exercising CDC recommended social distancing in our seating arrangements and have Kleenex and Hand sanitizer at each entry. If you are ill or CDC has posted guidelines and recommendations related to healthcare worker exposure/potential exposure which are included for reference. The following scenarios have been included as guidance.

Most Clinical sites have all been placed on hold until at least the end of the month as students and volunteers are considered non-essential and the CDC guideline to hospitals, nursing homes, etc. is to decrease risk over the next 2 weeks at a minimum. We will continue to monitor the situation and let you know as soon as possible.

As per current illness policies for nurses/students, any nurses/students with fever and/or signs and symptoms of respiratory illness please reschedule. We can assist you with obtaining a BON extension if you are near your deadline. Do not come to class until asymptomatic for at least 24 hours and follow CDC guidelines.
